Bottle brown, 300 ml, alc 5,1 percent abv, min 8,5 percente of cherry juice, bought in Czech Republic, Trinec, Hypernova,
Appearance pours intensive, dark red, cherry and strawberry like body colour with clear body texture, carbonation of the body is moderate, head is initially huge, quite thick, compact, frothy and regular in texture, slowly decreasing to moderate leaving nice lacing, head is reddish pink, cherry like in colour,
Aroma strong aroma of natural refreshing cherry juice, slightly spiced up by leavy hoppyness and gentle notes of alcohol, no sourness and quite dominating mellow yeasty nose giving the impression of whipped cream, candid sugar, vanilla, very inviting and easy to assess,
Flavour front is quite mild, soft, slightly accidic and slightly sweet, generally the most neutral Lambic Kriek I ve tasted so far, not too much accidic, not tart and not overly sweet, very moderate, so, so, of course yeasty with moderate cherry influence, finish duration is moderate,
Palate body is light, texture is rather watter, carbonation on palate is soft, finish feel is slightly astringent mutant (854), Melbourne, Australia

Beautiful ruby colour and amazing pale pink head due to high carbonation. Cherry aroma hits you harder than the popping cork. Flavour is umistakably cherry (duh) with some sourness but overall this is like a hard cherry soda, not beer. Wonder if that’s a good thing? DrunkAsASkunk (847), Lynnwood, Washington, USA
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Aug 3, 2005 This beer comes courtesy of beerguy101 and once again a big thank you!! This kreik pours a deep glowing red color with a super thin white soapy head and little lacing. The aroma is ALL cherries with a hint of cherries, topped off with cherries and alluding to some sour cherries. Flavor-wise we’re talking very full bodied, unbelievably smooth and toned down with a silky cherry mouthfeel. What I found incredibly interesting was how the heavily carbonated crisp front of cherries mellowed into a pepperminty spicy finish which bit the palate slightly but not enough to dry the beer out and make it undrinkable. Something of a candy sugar sweet finish. Both tart and sour, yet sweet and smooth. Superb balance and precise funkdification! The balance Belle-Vue acheives is damn good....the ratings here surprise me...you must try a fresh bottle. Fantastic! krisbierjaeger (844), dolores, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 25, 2004 a fiery, will scarlet rose and cinnamon colored libation, it hisses with a fine initial rush of rust-tinted champagne-like foam. slightly bready malts, toffee, and plum combine with cellar-musty yeasts to form an aromatic foundation. then, of course, you don’t have to be a pedigreed coon-hound to sniff out this wealth of sour marischino-like cherries. likewise, the oakiness is as obvious as walking through an unfinished furniture store. while i can’t help but suspecting that many of these qualities could be produced by a confectionary chef and/or a chemist-- with a lot less effort than that required by the supposed three year brewing process, this cherry hard cider malt beverage with a kind of flemish-sour acidity is rich, sweet, complex and very pleasing-- certainly a nice change of pace amid an evening beer drinking. and deserving of great accollades JUST for not resembling a cherry cough syrup. heavy (840), Split, Croatia

Aroma of black cherry and some hops. Bit vinegar, too. Flavor still with the black cherry, sourish but not too much lambic present, although more "looking like beer" than other fruit lambic I’ve recently tried. High carbonation on the palate of course. Finish a bit sour. Not bad generally. scotty (832), Scotland
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 26, 2005 Clean, deep pink, with a steady bead. The pale pink head lasts quite well.Clean, fresh cherry aroma(funnily enough)there is a slightly harsh acidic prickle at the end. Palate is fresh fruity with a bitter edge (again, cherry, but quite light really) There is a refreshing acidic/sour character that reminds me of Rodenbachs sour beers. This is lovely stuff, but I have heard that Belle-vue use fruit concentrate rather than whole fruit, is this true??? Either way, I really enjoyed it. mansquito (830), Boston/Philadelphia, USA

Nice head that is kind of thick. It smells like well, I think everyone here could figure out that it smells like berries. The taste is a little bit sour and tastes like cherries. It is not too sweet and overpowering with the sweetness though. Not too bad.
