Maybe I'm just not a fruit beer kinda dude, but I can think of several dozen ways this could be improved. At least it's somewhat subtle. haukur (684), Reykjavik, Iceland

Sampled in a smoky bar so the aroma wasnt quite there for me, nice mouthfeel, sticky and yeasty and obviously cherries, avarage but nice
[re-rate] 2003 vintage, loads of cherries in the aroma, small head. Thicker palate then in the fresh sample. It has lost a bit of carbonation and replaced with a bit more complexity. Better when slightly aged wnp22 (682), Toronto (Roncesvalles Village), Ontario, Canada

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 6, 2005 middle pinkish head on a dakr red body. Very fine for a fruit lambic. Not too bitter, just the right amount of bitterness and fruitness that suits a sweet dessert. A pleasure to drink. Otje (668), Leiden, Netherlands
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 25, 2005 this is certainly not the best kriek-beer i’ve had, appearance is good. aroma is a little to soft, almost no cherries. taste is too artificial to me (syrupy?). underlying sour and earthy lambic taste is good, but hard to notice. thin body. finish is too sweet. azlondon (667), Fribourg, Switzerland

Obvious cherries in the aroma, although slightly artificial. Tart and sour, the flavour is nicely balanced, but a little bland. Medium-bodied and nicely dry, this slides down very easily. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 28, 2003 Dark red color - darker and more beer-like than most krieks, with a pink frothy head. Aromas of sour cherries. Tastes drier than I expected, although there is still plenty of cherry present. Smooth, creamy and sour, with a woody, oaky hint towards the finish. Aftertaste is surprisingly short and dry, with some lingering fruity notes.
