Was expecting a bit of a bang from the c+c bottle, but nope nothing but a dull muted pop. Poured clear red (bar the head almost pop like) with a cherry spritzy aroma and a mouthfilling sour cherry taste.

Aroma: very sweet cherries, like cherry syrup, some plums, bubblegum, and fruit loops
Appearance: deep red with some dark brown tones, pinkish head, lacing
Flavor: sugary-sweet cherries, like cherry pie, minerals
Palate: little thin, cherry pie aftertaste

A lovely looking brew with a nice head and a beautiful cherry aroma. First sip is a bit strange - unless you subsist on fruity beers - but it settles down nicely and a bit of sourness comes forth. Sweetness disappears and it leaves a nice aftertaste.

Tasted 2007-07-24. Fresh bottle, 25cl. Clear red colour and light red foam. Aroma and taste of sweet cherries, red fruit juice and a little acid. IMO it lacks a bit in the acid department and it’s too sweet and boring. Maybe it’s a good beginner kriek?

Nice looking, nice smelling beer. But, that interesting blend of cherries and lambic-y undertones is just not there. Needs more oak and horse-blanket.

375ml Bottle w/ cork, 5.1% a/v Pours a dark ruby colour, looks exactly like cranberry juice, with a foamy pink head. The smell is of cherry, raspberry and some boozy notes. The taste is incredibly cherryish. Like freakin kool aid! Its a very refreshing drink, very summer appropriate!

Red-brown colour with apinkish rapidly diminishing bubbly head. Aromas of ripe cherry (duh). Lighter than what I expected. Reminded me of a cheap rose wine.

Bottle from 1995 at Kulminator, Antwerp. A lot of cherries in both aroma and flavor, sweetness was not at all too sweet. No acidity and no carbon dioxide. Quite interesting.
