37.5cl bottle: This one pours a clear ruby color. Pouring it fast does give it a bit of a red-tinged head. The head dies down quickly, even there was a bit of carbonation. Some lacing down the glass. The aroma has both sweet and sour notes of cherries. The taste is a bit tart, but a hair lighter: the cherries don’t overpower the taste. A nice Kriek.

A very unique style. Lambics are definitely an acquired taste. Very cherry, but not overpowering. Quite good.

Ruby tinged brown. Pink hued creamy white head. Black cherries soaked in oak aroma. Full, sourish and loaded with dark cherry flavor. Less sweet than expected and actually more beer tasting than most fruit Lambics I’ve had, but I’m far from an expert or lover or casual drinker or (you get the point). Finishes watery, less fruity, but still tart and woody. I actually liked this more than my wife did. Too close to beer for her.

Although no Girardin Kriek or one of the other great real krieks I do however enjoy this one on a summer evening. Strong cherry aroma. Red color, pink head, good lace. Sweet, light sour, cherry, no wood however. Long cherry finish and a little dry.

a fiery, will scarlet rose and cinnamon colored libation, it hisses with a fine initial rush of rust-tinted champagne-like foam. slightly bready malts, toffee, and plum combine with cellar-musty yeasts to form an aromatic foundation. then, of course, you don’t have to be a pedigreed coon-hound to sniff out this wealth of sour marischino-like cherries. likewise, the oakiness is as obvious as walking through an unfinished furniture store. while i can’t help but suspecting that many of these qualities could be produced by a confectionary chef and/or a chemist-- with a lot less effort than that required by the supposed three year brewing process, this cherry hard cider malt beverage with a kind of flemish-sour acidity is rich, sweet, complex and very pleasing-- certainly a nice change of pace amid an evening beer drinking. and deserving of great accollades JUST for not resembling a cherry cough syrup.

Dark red. Aroma of cherries and yoghurt. A bit sweet and beery flavor with acidic tones and some bitterness. Too industrial kriek for my taste

This was a nice mellow kriek. Smelled cherries as soon as the I pulled out the cork - opened with a quiet pop, and when I started pouring I thought that maybe this was going to be flat. Luckilly, it developed a thick fluffy pink head on top of the hazy red body. Also had great sticky lacing. Taste was mellower than expected, but smooth and full of semi tart cherry. Hints of sourness, but I would’ve preferred more. Finish was slightly bitter, woody, almost like cherry pits.

Cherry aroma, sour taste. Very nice on a warm day. Not sweet. Light red colour in the glass.
