The aroma is cherries and cherry stones. The taste is fruity and clean. There are no lambic sour notes at all, nor it is sweet. This is a nice enough drink but a bit safe and plain. shrubber85 (2934), Wallhalben, Germany

Flavor of dark cherry but rather weak - did not match what I anticipated from the aroma. Shared with a group - the guys hated it and the girls liked it - there you go. Addendum: Had a bottle cellared for about 18 months, a totally different beer - aroma takes on the more traditional mustiness with cherry sweetness greatly fading. Flavor matches aroma - a musty, dry light cherry flavor. Aging made this much more like a traditional lambic. drfabulous (1254), Columbia, Missouri, USA

Sweet cherries even shade of raspberries with shy oaky note lambic in the aromas, follow a medium-bodied of sweet cheery note in the palate with a mild tartness and a shy acidity on the finish. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 8, 2005 375ml bottle with cork and cage. Could hardly get a head on this one at all which marks down the appearance a little in this case. Very interesting hazy red garnet colour with a slight amber tint. Sour fruity cherry aroma with a little oak in the background. Taste starts with cherry laden fruitiness, then becomes sour with a slight tannin finish. Even though there was no head in my case, the carbonation felt about right and the feel was quite smooth. Looking forward to trying more lambics, I don’t mind this style. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 8, 2006 Bottle. Dark pinky-red with a thin off-white pinkish head. Cherry malty nose, trees, not offensive, sweetish. Moderately carbonated mouth, sweet cherry, woody, then a touch of sourness. Reminds me of sweet cherry sweets I ate as a child, and black forest gateaux. Not much palate, what there is is a bit woody. Slightly sour towards the end. All in all, well rounded, not bold enough for my liking though. Bit ’flimsy’ alobar (1026), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a deep redd colour with a fairly non existnat head though it was a little too cold and I wasn’t the one pouring. The flavour rounded itself out nicely as it warmed.. The first sip was a little frightening. I found it mostly enjoyable but my father-in-law disagreed (guess it wasn’t such a great thank you gift for him after all...) I will have to give the Lambics some thought and try a few others to see what I think.
