Slightly dry. A fair beer but would much rather have had a Lindemans chriso (4852), London, Greater London, England

This is an unashamedly commercial rendition of the style. I'm not sure how much real lambic there is in this, but is certainly does taste of cherry in a rather medicinal cough-mixture type way. The problem from my perspective is that it is really rather unacceptably sweetened up. This is somewhat redeemed by a more authentic sharp tang at the finish. An acceptable, but uninspiring Kriek. There is no need to comment on the natural hue of a beer because of the obvious adjuncts. Ditto the nose and taste as a cherry beer is going to probably smell and taste of .......Having said all that it is still a good and refreshing beer. There is a gegree of syrupy presence as noted by some but if you look past that it is still quite an acceptable drink, as opposed to a beer. MiP (9159), Sønderborg, Denmark
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 22, 2007 Sweet and acidic aroma. Deep red colour, stable pink head. Thickish mouthfeel. The flavour is quite sweet and slightly acidic, with some fruit notes. Refreshing. piscator34 (1134), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 22, 2004 Burgundy in colour, with aromas of cherry and balsamic vinegar. Unfortunately the cherry flavor of this beer is more like "fake" or "processed" cherry than the real thing. Other earthy flavors are apparent as well. I think this bottle might have been corked. Finished dry. No balance to this one at all. mustang3 (254), Whitby, Canada

Pale red colour with a strong cherry syrup nose. The flavour has just a hint of tartness suggesting the potential this beer oculd have if they didn’t make it so weak. haddonsman (1234), Derby, Derbyshire, England
