It pours well with a good two-finger head and fine carbonation. It’s sweet, but not artificially so. The flavour is admittedly a little on the simple side, but is enjoyable none the less. Perhaps the perfect beer to serve with lamb if you don’t feel like having a wine. Not a beer for the fruit lambic connoisseur, but enjoyable for anyone looking for something different, or for people who don’t normally enjoy beer. Mklein818 (165), Etterbeek, Virginia, Belgium

Sure Belle-vue isn’t a purist’s lambic--but it’s tasty. Haven’t had it in a while and I really miss it. DJMonarch (6941), Northwich, Cheshire, England

A very drinkable fruit lambic, this one had enough fruit to it to be tasteful (and not a big mouthful of puckering), while not losing some of the sourness imparted by the lambic base (it was still a beer and didn’t taste like a soft drink). Aroma was cherries and apples. Flavor was mostly cherries (some tartness). joanesee (7), England does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 6, 2007 The marmite beer - like it or loathe it! I like the cherry flavour and aftertones. Colour and body is all there. Elkas (86), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada

If you are not a beer lover (what?) then this is a great alternative. However it is very sweet and half of a drink is enough for me.
