Cherry aroma. Not particularly sweet or sour aroma. Medium body with coarse carbonation. Slightly sour, but also slightly sweet, cherry. Barring the cherry it could be a red wine. Finishes rather dry. Certainly not one of the soda pop fruit lambics. Finishes rather tart. nigos (620), Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England

There are also sour apple notes as well. Pretty pleasant aroma. Hazy copper/brown color with a small tan head. Pretty damn ugly compared to the Lou Pepe I had last week. Mild acidity and lactic notes to start, quickly followed by sweet cherries...almost medicinal in nature. Finishes a bit roasted and bitter. The cherries work in this beer like the cherry flavor works in Amoxicillin. It feels as though the fruit is trying to hide something as opposed to working with something. This is very drinkable though, but it just doesn’t jive with my palate. OKBeer (1159), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

Sour cherry aroma. Flavour of tart and sweet cherries. Palate is flat and light but refreshing. gbzia (195), Cedar Knolls, New Jersey, USA

Slightly tart beginning, bits of cherry here and there and a light bitter finish. Not bad, not overly assertive though. scraff (1946), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 13, 2007 Orangey red, thin white head. Nose held notes of cherry (more like red sweedish fish), light oak, and hints of citrus. Sweet cherry and light oak flavor dominates with no sourness I had hoped for. Light bodied, soft carbonation, fruity finish. Not true to form, but ok I suppose. Thanks for sharing Eyedrinkale... TheBeerGod (3163), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 28, 2003 Pours a reddish brown mix with a whitish red head. The smell is of black or maraschino cherries. The taste is a little tart and strongly reminescent of cherries but is not as potent as I was hoping. Finishes well with slight tartness but seemed to be lacking an edge.
