Mar 29, 2004 On tap at St. Alexandre pub in Quebec City. Poured deep cherry red with a matching aroma. The scent led me to belive this was going to be too sweet. Upon tasting, I was pleasantly surprised of the balance between sweetness and tartness. It wasn't as cloying as Lindemans, or as raw as Cantillon - good stuff. I'd imagine multiple pints of this might get to the cloying stages, so this mught be best to begin or end an evening.

Feb 4, 2004 Love the sweet sesation of the tartness once your first sip is taken. Enjoy the sweet raspberry flavour. Not the type of beer that you can have all night, however is good to start the evening off.

Jul 18, 2007 Bottle. High creamy and pink lasting head. Beautiful clear dark red body. Very sweet cherry aroma. Acidic fresh and nice cherry aroma with a good deal of carbonation and a long aftertaste.

Oct 1, 2008 Served on draft in Japan. Pours a beautiful dark red body with a fuzzy pink head. Very strongly cherry and very sweet. Very drinkable with a dry finish. Slight hint of oak.

Dec 18, 2008 Bottled. Bright red, pours with a big foam head. Sweet cherry aroma, carbonated, with a slightly silky mouthfeel. Malty. Mainly sweet with some bitterness at the back. I did not think the cherry was overpowering but this might depend on chilling. Mine was served at room temperature. Nice.
