Huge prickly hay flavor, acetid and sharp. Buttery popcorn and peanuts in the middle just destroy any positives this one has. Arcid peanuts and yeast dominate... ugh. jbrus (4903), Delft, Netherlands

Cloudy, yellow color, no head. Sweet, banana, sour, hint of vinegar, some oak. Quite young, lacks complexity, I’m not impressed. Jerre (1768), Waregem, Belgium

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 24, 2003 (4 years and 4 months old - aged IN the breweries' pipes). Hazy, orangey colour. Slight white head. Superb maderisation. Nose of vintage Burgundy, 'horseblanket', citrussy, peppery, woody. Lemon-like acidity. Something sticky (I think it's my tooth plaque coming loose from me teeth). Extreme dry-effect. Lipsmacking left-over citrussy acidity in the aftertaste. Mind-blowing age( brewery-conditioning!) for this beer. Result is fabulous.
