750mL bottle, 1999 vintage, courtesy of sk8viking. Thanks a ton, Rene!! Pours a hazy medium orange appearance; slight perimeter of off-white bubbles at the edges. Dense, generous aroma, showing plenty of funk, tart lemons, and an explosive glass-filling citrus character; funky and fine. Incredibly dense, quite tart mouthfeel: puckering, mouthwatering tart lemons and funk; very light carbonation (almost still) with probably the most acidity it could have without being harsh; just excellent; slightly fruity, with an excellent tartness. Lengthy, tart lemon and mildly funky finish.

Rating #1000. ’99 Bottle generously provided by kmweaver. Thanks Ken! Hazy peach body with a tiny ring of bubbles along the edge of the glass for a head. The nose is moderately sour, yogurt, blue cheese, horseblanket, light pinneapple and a touch of sweet malts. Flavor is moderately to heavy sour, lots of acidic fruit juices, pineapple, light peach, lemon, cherry, cider, plenty of yogurt and lactic acids, especially at the end and just a touch of sweet malts behind the tidal wave of sour. Medium body is soft with light carbonation with a sour, puckering, drying finish. Superb. Certainly deserving of all the praise.

Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation 07. Oh, the shocking difference of something that is fully developed. Cloudy milky orange. Nose is a punch in the face with hlemon/orange acidity, funky love. Very bitter/acidig, lots of lemon, very hot balsamic. Tingly and wonderful.

Bottle at ct4 thanks to sliffy. Aroma of tartness, horse, cheese, and sour. Aroma tingled the back of my throat. Had a little citrusy aroma and flavor to it. A little overpowering in the sourness but still a pretty good beer.

Bottle 1999 @ 16th Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation 2007, Optal. Unclear orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is heavy sweet / sour, vinegar, fruity, notes of oak. Flavor is heavy acidic with a long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. Very nice dry finish.

1999 vintage shared with puzzl and IMtheOptimator and generously provided by Madsberg. Pours hazy and nearly still. Smells of oak, tarte lemons, some barn qualities. Tastes incredibly sour with some nice citrus and is very thirst quenching. Tons of depth. I wish I could say more about this other than...WOW!

CT7 Bottle shared my sliffy courtesy of madsberg. Orange-yellow pour with no head. Aroma of sour, brett, some vinous notes and light funk. Intense sour in the flavor, some wood character and light malt. Light bodt sour/dry throughout with a super sour/dry finish. Awesome stuff!

C-bus 7. Sour and light citrus aroma. Murky golden brown body. Medium palate with good carbonation. Sour lemon flavor is nice, not too overpowering. Hints of spices--almost like cinnamon or nutmeg perhaps. Great experience.
