Difficult to rate. Lots of oak in the aroma. Sulfur too. Medium amber color, hazy. Aroma is very, very acetic. Long duration. Full body. Moderate astringent.

(750ml Bottle, 1999 vintage) Pours a lightly hazy orange body with a spare ring of white bubbles. A complex gueuze aroma of grapefruit, lemon, vinegar, apple, earthiness, musty, and white grapes. The flavor smacks you in the face with the intensity of the tartness that after once taste makes your taste buds stand up for attention like basic training solders for their drill sergeant. The tartness lingers even after several minutes in between sips allowing you to savor the magical experience endured. An absolutely fantastic brew at a unbelievable tasting that I will certainly not forget.

Vintage 1999!. Poured a hazy amber color. The aroma was nice and tart and acidic. Light leather and nice funk. Sour, acidic and lactic. The was a little fruitiness to it. Light-medium body. So good.

Bottle (1999). Small white head. Yellow body. Vinegar aroma. Harsh bitter flavor. Flat carbonation.

Bottle. Clear orange colour wit virtually no head. Very sour and acidic aroma and flavor.

Bottle. Slightly hazy orange colour with a small frothy head. Fruity and acidic aroma and taste. Hopefully this bottle was a bit too old.

Bottle. No head. Color is amber. Aroma is lots of lactose acid. Taste is sour with lots of lactose acid. Sour finish. Virtually no carbonation.

Bottle. 1999 version. Frothy white fair mostly deminishng head. Orange/yellow colour. Week and not very pleasent aroma. Powerfull sour and acetic flavor. Long finish. Creamy palate. maybe just a little bit too old?
