Enjoyed at a nice trout resto in the Ardennes. Nice golden color, thick white head. Fruity orange yeast esters in the nose with a touch of floral hops. Flavor has a nice bitterness to it, and light sweetness with a little booze showing through. Lively on the tongue and slightly dry on the finish. Later tried a draft version, and hops stood out more. Nothing flashy, but perfectly sound and no nonsense. Good beer.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of fruits, especially peaches, and light notes of yeast. The flavor is very sweet and very fruity again peaches being strongest.

(33cl bottle, bb 04-09) Hazy, golden colour with a thick foamy white head. Sweet and yeasty malty aroma with a distinctive vinous grape-fruity touch, accompanied by more or less discreet alcoholic fusels. Moderately bitter flavour with a balancing malty sweetness, medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Pale malty, slightly worty taste with traces of cara-malt and spices; medium-dry, sweet-bitter finish with a light but again vinous fruity and slightly spicy note. I think the beer is pretty unclean but I somewhat liked it (24.II.09).

Hazy golden with tiny off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with yeasty and peach notes. Sweet flavor with ripe fruits, yeast and caramel. Ends sweet.
