Commercial Description:
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

poured into a pilsner glass (i like to stuff my nose in there), out of a 12oz bottle. aroma was of yeast and citrus, not very strong. came out with a decent 1 finger head with great retention and medium lacing. i picked up mostly citrus and an underbelly of malt. mouthfeel was average, carbonation was kind of heavy, but otherwise it was enjoyable. the finish was unexpected, built strong but then fell flat. regardless i’d drink another one, a decent brew.

This poured a dark amber color with an off white head. Aroma was light bitter hops and slightly roasted malts. Flavor was of nice smooth pale malts hops. Fairly decent beer but expected more from bells.

A fairly good version of the style, nose of malts and tastes of just the same but fairly weak in body and finish.

Pours a nice amber color with some light head and nice lacing. Aroma is of bread, slight malt and light floral hops. Taste is fairly light with some yeast, citrus, and more floral hops. Finish is light again, and a little flabby.

Poured from bottle into 2009 PGA Championship Pint glass (pretty sweet). Just slightly hazy light amber with small white head and minimal lacing. Smells fairly dry (especially in comparison to the taste), with toast, caramel and citrus fairly evident. Somewhat sweet upfront with a nice mix of caramel, toast, fruit and citrus. Turns slightly bitter toward the end with a mix of citrus and spice. Very well balanced overall, but still slightly too sweet for my liking in a session ale. Moderately high carbonation with a light-medium body. Finishes quite dry. While the American Amber Ale category is quite broad, I think of this as the prototypical example of the style. However, it may be slightly too sweet for my taste.

THIS BEER WAS HIGHLY RECOMENDED TO ME BY A FRIEND AND TO BE HONEST I WASN’T EXPECTING IT TO BE GREAT. AND IT ISNT. THE AROMA IS NOT VERY PLEASANT SMELLS LIKE A TYPICALY MASPRODUCED BEER. THE HEAD IS NONEXISTENT AND THE CARBONATION LINGERS IN THE GLASS LEAVING WHAT LOOKS LIKE LITTLE FLOATIES, I DONT TASTE ANY FRUITS OR ANYTHING THESE OTHER RATERS HAVE, I JUST TASTE MILD HOPS SMOTHERED IN MALT WITH A VERY SLIGHT SWEETNESS. THIS BEER IS FAR FROM GREAT BUT DOES HAVE A GOOD YET NOT OVERWELMING FLAVOR THAT MAKES IT ENJOYABLE

Overall a nice easy drinking amber that doesn’t overwhelm or underwhelm. Good flavor and balance. A very well done amber.

pours an orange brown but im color blind and this beer seems to have a weird cilor. Has a good taste but not so crisp and confusing on the palate. A bit bitter and dry but at the same time has a watery wetness that dilludes the flavor.
