| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 8, 2009 Pours an amber-copper color with a bit of murkiness too it as well as particulate down at the bottom and a small white head on top. Aroma is pretty much the Munich and caramel malts, making it pretty sweet. Flavor starts off with a slightly sweet malt taste and a slight citrus flavor moving into a bitter malt bite in the middle and ending with a semi dry fruit flavor. Body of the beer is medium heavy and medium carbonation as well. Overall it’s a great amber with a very full flavor. trayns (242), Beverly Hills, Michigan, USA

Great looking beer poured into the pint. Smooth, malty sweetness. Good balance, leans obviously towards the malty sweet side. Good. jeff789 (411), Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 3, 2009 Pours a hazy amber with seemingly high carbonation... Aroma is very mild, light notes of citrus, caramel and bubblegum... Flavor is a bit flat, a fair amount of sweet malt that doesnt seem to allow any hoppiness to shine... The bottle is not at all old... Medium bodied at best, a wee bit creamy... Not my favorite amber, certainly not my favorite bells beer by a long shot... mixinnixon2000 (227), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 22, 2009 Not bad!!! If Val Blatz had invented this it would rate even higher. Nice color, aroma, and flavor. A little expensive, but worth it to have one before slamming a 12 pack of Blatz! kseecs16 (907), Naperville, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 21, 2009 Pours a hazy globule filled amber with a whispy off white head. Light impermanent lacing. Aroma is faint citrusy hops. Flavor is a bit sweet, floral with a mild dry bitter finish. Medium bodied, just ok, but then again I’m not a huge fan of ambers. I enjoyed their offering under the Kalamazoo name more.
