Commercial Description:
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

Pours an amber-copper color with a bit of murkiness too it as well as particulate down at the bottom and a small white head on top. Aroma is pretty much the Munich and caramel malts, making it pretty sweet. Flavor starts off with a slightly sweet malt taste and a slight citrus flavor moving into a bitter malt bite in the middle and ending with a semi dry fruit flavor. Body of the beer is medium heavy and medium carbonation as well. Overall it’s a great amber with a very full flavor.

12oz. Pours a great amber, golden color with a nice white head. Great looking beer poured into the pint. Smooth, malty sweetness. Good balance, leans obviously towards the malty sweet side. Good.

Pours a hazy amber with seemingly high carbonation... Aroma is very mild, light notes of citrus, caramel and bubblegum... Flavor is a bit flat, a fair amount of sweet malt that doesnt seem to allow any hoppiness to shine... The bottle is not at all old... Medium bodied at best, a wee bit creamy... Not my favorite amber, certainly not my favorite bells beer by a long shot...

Bottle. Bottom Lounge Chicago. This is a pretty solid amber. Light, but not too light. just the right amount of hops. kind of cloudy.

this is probably the richest amber i have ever had. aroma is malty and molasses. taste is buttery with sweet dark sugars and brown fruit like dates. finish has some bitter hoppiness and mild citrus tang. an outstanding amber.

Not bad!!! If Val Blatz had invented this it would rate even higher. Nice color, aroma, and flavor. A little expensive, but worth it to have one before slamming a 12 pack of Blatz!

Pours a hazy globule filled amber with a whispy off white head. Light impermanent lacing. Aroma is faint citrusy hops. Flavor is a bit sweet, floral with a mild dry bitter finish. Medium bodied, just ok, but then again I’m not a huge fan of ambers. I enjoyed their offering under the Kalamazoo name more.

Cloudy amber pour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, mostly of caramel. Strong caramel flavor. Medium body.
