(Just in case someone out there is a distributor, we need distribution for Bells in CA.) This beer is a hoppier version of the typical Amber I’ve come across. There was a nice malt backbone to round out the palate and thicken the taste. Excellent carbination and flavor in general. Good beer! jrob21 (1278), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Dec 29, 2008 Cloudy brown color. Caramel malt aroma. Flavor up front is candy sugar sweet. Mid palate is big malt and the finish has a tinge of hop bitterness. Light bodied and pretty quick on the finish. Good balance with some nutty characteristics in the flavor. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 25, 2008 Bottle. Mild malty aroma. Orange amber body, average sized off-white head. Rather undistinguished flavor. Somewhat sweet and malty. But very mild. hogan873 (334), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 21, 2008 Nice copper body with a thick tan head that leaves decent lacing. The light aroma is mostly sweet with caramel and vanilla notes present. The mouthfeel is full and smooth. The taste is not nearly as sweet but more bitter than the aroma would lead you to believe. The malty sweetness is right up front but quickly gives way to grassy hop bitterness. Not a bad beer. DTM (541), Winters, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 10, 2008 Bottle aquired in trade from St. Fun. Poured a copper color with miminal head. More bitter than many amber Ive had. Carmel was the most dominant flavor. All in all a solid beer. noncaloric (629), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Faint aroma, slightly malty. Malts are lightly sweet up front, turning nutty and tea-like. Hops character beneath the malts is floral to grassy. Medium body, prickly carbonation and hops. tarheels86 (812), Washington DC, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 4, 2008 Pours a hazy copper/light amber with a good head the fades quickly. Looks actually more like a hefeweisen dunkel. Very little lacing. Aroma is of slight grass, caramel malts, straw, vanilla extract. Creamy almost buttery taste with good balancing hops. Taste is fairly light but with a solid malt backbone with lots of caramel. A solid amber.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 28, 2008 Hazy amber pour. Sticky head. Lots of suspended particles. Nice warm scent of hops flowers and coreander. Watery start but a nice rising warmth. Caramel malts in the thick finish. Slightly bitter aftertaste. I’m impressed. For something I picked up a 6 of at Liquor Fiesta in KY, this is damn good.
