Opaque hazy muddy gold with a beige 1 finger head. The foam dies off quickly leaving little lace. Aroma is caramel malt with overripe peach. Flavor is much the same, with a firm caramel maltiness, peachy fruitiness, and an additional hoppy finish that’s a bit piney with medium bitterness. A little bit bland honestly. Medium thin body with lots of carbonation.

Its actually alot more like it’s Kalamazoo cousin than oberon was. Very yeasty and a touch of roasted flavor. Just sweet enough, and i would describe the whole feeling of it as soft. And thats good. dsm (109), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden amber with solid lacing. Sweet hoppy aroma. Taste has a lot of hops, with a smooth finish. Very good. changeup45 (800), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 3, 2008 Pours a dirty amber color with a moderate off-white head with some retention. Aroma is herbal with some grassy hops and fruity notes. Sweet fruity flavors, some bready malt, and hops show towards the finish with mild bitterness. Medium to light bodied. Crisp, refreshing and easy drinking with nice balance but overall there’s not a lot to this. cmillward (437), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours light amber with a small white head. Malty with some citrus hops on the nose. In the flavor, again a sweet maltiness, some citrus hops, and then a crisp bitter finish. A little thin in the mouth, with soft carbonation. nqualls (1428), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 1, 2008 Poured amber/tan from the tap. Nondescript to zero aroma. Flat, almost like flour taste. Not a winner. gsmitty80 (650), Washington DC, USA

Usually their beers are very heavy and flavorful, so was expecting roasting or smokiness with this beer but instead i got what i really wanted a sweet, smooth and clean beer. Can’t wait to drink another one.
