| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 17, 2008 12 oz bottle, pours a rather hazy, turbid amber with a large, billowing and long-lasting yellow-cream colored head that leaves good spotty lacing. Aroma features clean malts with some caramel character coming through, balanced with a touch of citrusy, floral hops. A bit soapy. Nice balanced flavor; dominantly sweet, but clean, with light caramel tones and just enough hop bitterness. Finish is very slightly dry. Mouthfeel is on the light side of medium, with moderate prickly carbonation. Relatively smooth and clean. Solid; nice session beer. ucusty (1908), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA
