| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 27, 2008 Pours with a surprising haze. Fruity, toasted and caramel hop aroma with some citrus hops. Sweet and malty. The hops could be amped up a little and the alcohol is noticeable. Rather thin in body. The bitterness is a little rough. Not my favorite. bigtaster (184), Grand Rapids, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Feb 14, 2008 Huge foamy head and a nice clear amber color. Great hops nose. Great balance of malt and hops. Just enough sweet, just enough bitter and a lightly bitter yet clean finish. Amazing. Wish I had grabbed more than one. bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours nearly clear amber with a thin white had. Pine-nut nose. Medium body and carbonation. Lots caramel, nuts and bread in the taste. Crisp finish. Goodgrief (1161), Middletown, Delaware, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 10, 2008 Aug. 2006 - A different take on an amber. Poured dark orange color with nice head and lacing. Aroma is just sweet malt. The flavor was sweet biscuit, caramel with a grapefruit/citrus hop finish. The beer was both too sweet and too hoppy. The flavors didn’t blend well for me. It gets points for not being a boring amber, I just didn’t dig it all that much.
