Commercial Description:
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

Bottled. A murky amber beer with a medium orange head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with strong notes of caramel and lesser notes of metal, while the flavor is sweet malty again with strong notes of caramel, but lesser notes of berries. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Can’t go wrong with Amber Ale. Malty with some hoppiness on the nose, and a very nice crystal malt flavor with a hint of hops. Its not overly sweet, and its not bitter...a very nice combination for all-around good drinking.

Bottle. [Great two day tasting session @ Papsoe] Average off-white bubbly head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Cloudy amber color. Aroma of Nice mellow hops with light fruity feel and some caramel. Over the palate hoppy smooth apricot and peach with some light toasted malt. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderate sweet flavor with excellent balancing bitterness. Light dry and bitter light lingering finish. This was amazingly well balanced I thought

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Degarth. Hazy, amber golden with tiny impurities and a small, off-white head. Aroma of caramel and overripe fruit. Medium-bodied with lightly sweet caramel and overripe fruit accents. The finish is dry. Classic American Amber. 120108

12 oz courtesy of Juart. Pours amber orange with a lot of sediment. I don’t think this is bottle conditioned. Has a nose of caramel, apples, and sweetness. Sticky sweet taste with toffee and just a touch of bitterness. Finishes with fresh apple flavor. Actually tastes like an amber and not an IPA wannabe like a lot of others out there.

[Bottle @ Papsoe] Hazy amber with tiny head. Sweet fruity aroma with hops and chocolate. Flavor is sweet malty with toffee and mild bitternes in the end. Good fair beer.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with a fully diminished white head. Woody, pine and light fruity hops aroma with a malt base sweetness beneath. Flavour holds a very smooth fruity and slight spiced caramel malt base. Has a mild pine note and a slight wood note towards the finish. Ends medium dry with a caramel malt note. Nice.

One of my favorites! Amber color, off white head, fruity sweet taste. An absolute joy.
