Aroma of sweet malts, soft caramel, some honey. Flavor has a unique earthy grain along with some well balanced bitterness. Smooth and good. Finishes with a light honey flavor and light nuttiness. A great beer for the style. tomthompson89 (1489), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Full maste taste with a good bitter finish that comes through strong. Full bodied, hoopy, and full flavored, this brew does not dissapoint. ante (2955), Stockholm, Sweden

Hazy, almost cloudy amber colour with a small disspaearing white foam. Caramel, crackers, cookies, burnt caramel, soap and spicy hops in the aroma. Medium-bodied with notes of caramel, nuts, cookies and grass. Medium-bitter finish of burnt caramel, grass and mild citrousy hops. Sonicdescent (379), Donora, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 23, 2009 Appears a copper color with a moderately small off white head. Very hazy. High carbonation.
The first hint of the nose is a citrus scent, surprising expecting the advertised malt to jump out. A little agitation gets some of the sweeter caramel scent. Very nice.
Taste..Very very good. A great balanced drink that doesn’t equate balance with weakness. There is definitely some hop and malt action here. Begins sweet and ends bitter, with a citrus aftertaste.
Mouth is appropriate. Relatively thin bodied and relatively high carbon.
Drinkability is very good, this is one of my favorite of this style and if I am in the market for an American Amber, I would go here.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 22, 2009 On tap in a pint glass. Pours amber (go figure!) with a small white head that sticks a bit. The aroma is surprisingly hoppy for an amber, and so is the flavor. The flavor is like hoppy caramel biscuits - a welcome change for an amber. Light body and somewhat high carbonation. greencatfish (7), Pennsylvania, USA does not count | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | Aug 13, 2009 Great session beer. Malt sweet with a nice clean finish a little thin but a good match for the ABV and style. Very drinkable great party/summer beer. One of the beer ambers i have had in a while not that I drink them many
