Cloudy, dark amber with small white head. Aroma is malt forward with some citrus hops and biscuit malt. Flavor is sweeter biscuit, some caramel, some earthiness and some citrus hops, with a drying bitterness. Medium body with active carbonation and some creaminess. Not bad, will have to rerate fresh Bells Amber. 17thfloor (1498), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Okay... so I know this isn’t going to be exactly... uh fresh ha. Pours a slightly hazed golden hued amber with a medium frothy light tan head. Aroma is quite malty with some faded citrus hops. Flavor is rich caramel with a little twang, probably from the munich, fairly grassy, some citrus hops mixed in oddly, a bit fruity. I don’t remember Kalamazoo Amber tasting like this. Medium bodied with big soda bubble carbonation. BeerGuyTWMore (48), USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 25, 2009 Pours a hazy orange-amber with very thich froathy foam, unfortunately doesn’t last long. Aromas of sweet malts and hops alittle fruity. Sweet bready malts up front (yeast, fruit and caramel), bitter hop finish. Be sure to swirl the bottom inch or two when pouring to irritate the yeast or pour through strainer Ramenen (456), San Salvador, El Salvador
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 21, 2009 Drank it a Ramenen’s Beer Festival. Very much a like to a pale ale. It was very hoppy, more than I expected, I would have expected more malts, sweetness and spiciness. Not too thrilled about it. ghawener (963), San Salvador, El Salvador

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 14, 2009 Hazy amber appearance with a malty aroma. The flavor is malty with a bit of a spicy kick to it. Pipper (251), Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 14, 2009 Tasting at Bell’s Fest in OH. Poured an amber color as it should. My interest faded after that, perhaps this was an infected brew by the time I got to it, but the aroma was skunky with a sweeter flavor to match. Had the same metal aftertaste as their Third Coast Beer. Not too pleased with this one.
