ebrowner88 (113), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Apr 6, 2008 Had on tap at the Bell’s brewery. It was listed as Bell’s Kalamazoo Amber Ale. Deep copper color. 1 finger white head. Sweet malt then clean finish. Not amazing but good for the style.

JF_GRIND (1199), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 15, 2008 Picked up a six-pack of Amber Ale, and enjoyed the medium bodied, copper, hoppy ale from Bell’s. Picked up flavors of rye, fruit and caramel malt. Maybe a bit too high in alcohol for a session beer, but worked well with my palate. Cappadonna (100), Delray Beach, Florida, USA Jul 13, 2008 Pours hazy copper with lots of sediment.. Tan head. Has a sweet, mellow caramel aroma that is very inviting. Smells malty and reminds me of leather. Very well balanced with a Belgian taste as well as a fruity taste. Finishes nicely. The palate is smooth and greasy feeling, in a good way. One of the few amber ales that I actually like. homebase (3), Spring Hill, Tennessee, USA does not count Jul 8, 2008 One of the best Amber Ales I’ve ever tasted. This one doesn’t fight for your taste buds with any unruly bitterness as it’s smoother and easy to drink. A bit darker color than other Amber products. Goes down smooth, so smooth that two or three bottles have been finished. Satisfying aftertaste w/o the bitter finish. Need to distribute this in TN!!! keepersj12 (382), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA Jul 8, 2008 One of the best amber ales around. Just a nice clean aroma of hops with a beautifully balanced taste. Crisp clean finish. Excellent
