Big fruity nose with touches of orange zest, sugar and yeast. Flavor is big, sweet and spicy with notes of coriander, orange, and a slightly grainy malt character. Very tasty. cmillward (437), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 28, 2008 Bottle. Pours a ruddy hazy gold with a small off-white head which settles pretty quickly. Coriander, orange, a honey sweetness and faint whiffs of alcohol on the nose. Sharp coriander leads off the taste backed up by a sweetness of honey and slight malts and alcohol. Then the palate kind of drops out and a slightly harsh vegetal bitterness follows. Mouthfeel is a little heavy. FoolishMortal (966), San Diego, California, USA

Spicy, perfumey aroma, some citrus and earthy coriander. Appley malt, sharp spiciness and citrus rind. Soft, earthy and herbal flavors then manifest. Residual spiciness in the finish, with tinges of alcohol heat and citrus. Mouthfeel is medium, somewhat smooth. walleye (882), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA

I had a hard time with this beer at first, didn’t think it was very good. But after drinling a case of this the last few bottle turned me around. With most of the bells beers I like to try them unshaken 1st then shake up the yeast and I usually like the shaken one, but this one I didn’t care for the yeast in my glass. aroma got the Coriander, Orange Peel, some lemon, and a hint of yeast( this is the unshaken bottle). flavor same as the aroma with a little sweetness added in toddkrem (81), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 10, 2008 Orange coloring with medium carbonation. Taste the orange peel and semi sweet. Comparable to the IPA’s I like with no strong aftertaste. Great beer. shintriad (698), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

This is not my favoite beer from them, but still a good one. Nice Belgium style beer with plenty of spice. It only comes around once. incutrav (576), Woodbury, Minnesota, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 7, 2008 This looks about like orange juice. Fruity, with a good bit of orange taste. This was a lot like a stronger tasting Surly Cynic. Good stuff for sure, and the marmalade flavor is so tasty. Mmmmm, marmalade.
