Commercial Description:
Batch 8000 is part of our commemorative series celebrating our progress with special brews. Our Batch 8000 is a special recipe to be brewed only once. It is a wheat ale spiced with Coriander, Orange Peel, and Paradise Seed. Best consumed fresh.
Editor’s Note. 9% is far above the abv range of a Belgian Wit Bier. Because we do not have the style "Imperial/Double Belgian Wit", this more closely fits as a Belgian Strong Ale.

Bottle thanks to shp555. Pours a cloudy orange with a thin white head. The aroma is spices and citrus. The taste is really quite close to a marmalade sandwich; some citrus and coriander along with wheat. Really a nice beer, simple and yet so darn good. Is this really 9%? It has very little alcohol presence. Nice.

Orange/brown color with descent head. You can smell the orange or apricot. You clearly taste the variety of spices. Has a kick to it. You can feel this one go down. Great job Bells.

12 oz. bottle pours a beautifully deep, cloudy orange with great head. Aroma is amazing with tons of orange and many spices, but could be stronger. Flavor is less orange than expected with more prune, apricot and sweet candied plums. Definitely some residual sugar with a good balance of alcohol. Mouthfeel is smooth and medium bodied with just a tad too much carbonation. Overall, extremely well-crafted beer with a lot of character, will be wishing this one was on their standard lineup.

Pours a cloudy yellow, thin head, and interesting lacing. Citrus and fruit aroma. I get apricots and alcohol. Sweet candied fruit flavor. Oranges, raw sugar, with a bitter light hop finish. Palate is thin but works well with this style of beer.

Bells Batch 8000 Ale is a fantastic Belgian Steong Ale. Like the description says, this beer would fit in a category by itself as an Imperial/Double Belgian Wit Beer. Smooth taste of orange and corriander, this tastes as a very clean and concentrated Wit Beer.

Bottle. Small white head that was mostly lasting, no lacing, no carbonation noted and a yellow golden hue. Nose was coriander, sweet, and orange peel. Flavor was orange peel, sweet, citrus, and honey. Medium body. Quaffable brew, ABV not overly obvious and a good beer worthy of a try.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with Beachbum25. Poured a clear ambient orange with a very subtle with head, some spotty lacing was left on the tulip. Nose was fairly sweet with hints of citrus fruits . Flavor was much of the same......a good brew.

Bottle courtesy of Styles. Just lovely and different, getting much better as it warms to cellar temp. Clear orange that strangely turned cloudy after about 4 minutes. Aroma is very typical wit. Flavor starts similarly, but just goes way over the top, although in an enjoyable way. Very sweet and sugary as opposed to the citric refreshment of a normal wit turns this another direction. Warming with a big peach note followed by coriander and orange.
