Commercial Description:
Batch 8000 is part of our commemorative series celebrating our progress with special brews. Our Batch 8000 is a special recipe to be brewed only once. It is a wheat ale spiced with Coriander, Orange Peel, and Paradise Seed. Best consumed fresh.
Editor’s Note. 9% is far above the abv range of a Belgian Wit Bier. Because we do not have the style "Imperial/Double Belgian Wit", this more closely fits as a Belgian Strong Ale.

Bottle. Hazy orange-brown with a medium head that lasts. Zesty citrus and spice aroma. Flavor is a not-too-sweet, orange-peach-bubblegum liqueur. Dry wheat, tart citrus, herby hop, and alcohol zing at the end. Palate is nearly medium and fairly smooth, with some spice and acid astringency at the finish. Lots of yummy estery flavors that are balanced nicely by the spices.

Bottle. Poured an orange and hazy color, had some sediment that bounced around for awhile. White head that disappeared quickly. Flavor was citrusy and slightly spicy, maybe some vanilla in there ?. A heavy Wit is how I would describe it. Nice change of pace from a regular Wit.

Thanks Jason and Mike. Aggressivcely carbonated, yeasty-spicey treat with corriander, cloves and orange. Medium mouthfeel. Essentially a yeast play. I was expecting more but fine as a wit.

bottle: pours an orange honey colour with a white inner head that goes tan on the edges. aroma is very floral and sweet honey, wonderful spices and wheat malt. some banana esters. very nice. flavour is very yeasty with some bitter spice and plenty of wheat malt and honey. just a little alcohol warmth in the finish.

Makes an excellent beer bread... Holding one to try in a few years, although this one isn’t very age-worthy.

Bottle: Pours a hazy orange with a thin white head, fruity/citrus aroma, taste is a bit spiced, some citrus with a dry finish. Not bad but not great.
