Commercial Description:
Batch 8000 is part of our commemorative series celebrating our progress with special brews. Our Batch 8000 is a special recipe to be brewed only once. It is a wheat ale spiced with Coriander, Orange Peel, and Paradise Seed. Best consumed fresh.
Editor’s Note. 9% is far above the abv range of a Belgian Wit Bier. Because we do not have the style "Imperial/Double Belgian Wit", this more closely fits as a Belgian Strong Ale.

One whiff and I was a believer. Coriander, Orange Peel. Just like the label boasts, its all there! Incredibly balanced! Great mouthfeel! Some sweet notes blended seemlessly with bitter hop notes. I took a non craft beer enthusiast and made him a believer with just a sip of this powerful formula. Very thick and heavy. I loved the Belgian Wit notes. I would buy this again, if I can find it. Highly recommended!

Discretly seasoned and sweetened. Smells and tastes of finely-chopped milk chocolate with a nice touch of oranges. Vanilla and light red berries are also to be found.

Pours a hazy copper color with a small white head. Has a lot of yeast sediment in the bottom of the glass. Nice spicy aroma of coriander, yeast, hops, and honey. It has the typical Wit beer flavors just much thicker and stronger. Really spicy and well balanced. Excellent beer.

Tap. Ultra hazed and candy grapefruit in color with yellow gold highlights and a spawning, expansive pinhead pocked pillow white head. Aroma is prophetic and perfect. Bananas, vanilla, honey rose and orange peel join gloriously with a vanilla cola sweetness ala cardamom. A sweet, steady spiced substance harmoniously weaves through the nose channels for a cola, clover and vanilla scented sweetness that’s unrivaled in the industry. Flavor is the tangible manifestation of all that was promised in the nose. Bananas team with creamy oranges and spiced lemon rind and orange peel. Caramel sweetness interlaces throughout to produce an intensely sweet, smooth and balanced substance that provides a hefty bill upon the palate but finishes dry and hoppy all the while. Starts creamy upon the tongue tip and then slides back for a dry ecumenical balance for the ages. A hint of honey and vanilla spiced angel food cake creates a milky citric sweetness that encapsulates it all. White pepper and clover serve to further the sweetened spicy deal. What a batch, what a beer, what a year.

This brew pours a beautiful hazed apricot color w/ a medium sized, creamy froth. Head retention is good and reduces to a slky canopy and a fluffy ring. Aromas of fresh fruit nectar w/ cinnimon and clove spice. Nice! Full nectar w/ ample creamy residual effers. This is one nice specimen. Huge fresh fruit flavors dominate w/ a defined Belgian style spicey character.I taste everything from citrus and banana cream to vanilla, peach, red apple, and allspice. All this at only a mild sweetnes factor tempered by a strict peachpit bittering component. The finish is long and fruity w/ a nice bittering leaving the palate clean for the next sip. Overall: Perfectly balanced. This is totally Belgian but it has a soft texture that you just want to feel on your girlfriend. Like a silky teddy or something. The peachpit finish clocks in a little on the robust side. Highly recommended.

bottle via trade with Tytoanderso . Absolutely loved this one. Golden orange pour with lots of seed casings or some type of floaters. Aromas of coriander, orange, marmalade, honey. Great mouthfeel & taste. Again with the orange & marmalade. Very well put together. WOW. Possiblly top 10

I think this is one of my new favorite beers. Aroma is a slight vanilla, with some banana. Flavor is out of this world, for the most part. Vanilla, spice, and slight banana. It’s pretty smooth, and the alcohol is only slightly noticeable at 9%.

Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry and Blankboy, Blankboy’s bottle (thanks for sharing!). Great appearance - wonderful hazy orange, I do not think I have seen this exact colour on a beer before. Great aroma - yeasty, malt, floral, spice, orange zest. Taste is also very good - soft tingly mouthfeel, lots of zest, lemon, floral spiciness - stunning. Quenching. Like a strong saison. Just about perfect.
