Pale orange with fluffy white head. Smells slightly skunky, but not much. More hops than macro lagers. Very light body with a hops finish.

A very strong yeast aroma, half good, half bad but thats how it is for most pilseners and lagers for me. I do love the appearance tho, a light golden color with streaming carb bubbles and a thick white head. Pretty decent taste for a generic style, yeast flavor with some bland hops and malts. Palate is smooth and crisp, doesn’t leave anything behind. This is definitely something to drink in replace of all those domestic macros, a great session beer.

The lager of the lakes has a very crisp looking color. I have to say that the smell and the beginning flavor are fairly harsh but it does finish nicely!

12 oz. bottle labled "Lager of the Lakes". Pours a pale golden yellow color with a good sized head that doesn’t last long. Fairly decent lacing. Very clean sweet smelling aroma. Starts of sweet and then you pick up the hops in the end. Kind of dry finish. I’m not a huge fan of the hoppy beers but this was o.k.

From a keg kept at 37-39 degrees. The beer is a deep golden color, not pale like Bud Lite, and crystal clear A 1/2" head is present and only shrinks slightly. Taste is creamy, cream being the best word to describe it’s texture as well. The hops are noticable, which is different for a beer that looks like this one does. In all, a solid beer, but not very memorable.

Looks, smells, and tastes like Bud Lite. Why pay extra for something you can pick up at your local gas station.

As "Lager of the Lakes" Light hay yellow color. Smells off-putting, but the flavor is ok. Taste of malts, slight honey sweetness, and light floral hops. A good pilsener except for the odd aroma.

Pours golden, white head. Clean, refreshing, finishes dry. Good summer session beer.
