| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 28, 2008 Bottle from Sam’s in Durham. Poured a small white head on top of a bright light golden body. Went out on my porch for two minutes and the head had all but disappeared. Just a few thin wispy nimbus-like streaks floating atop and a microbubbles around the edges. That was a disappointment, though Bell’s has never carbonated their beers all that much. Anyway, to the smell and taste... minimal aroma: grain and minimal Saaz. A little metallic. Similar taste, though the hops hit hard and nicely bitter, ending crisply if a bit metallic. Solid summer quaff. notalush (2699), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 24, 2008 A standard but tasty lager - slightly buttery aroma - very smooth and moderately malty through the middle, back ended by noble hop bitterness - gets a little peppery and grassy in the finish - a solid beer. dkachur (2437), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 21, 2008 Bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville. Golden pour with a medium head. Dry grainy aroma. Grainy taste with notes of table sugar, pear and a nice hoppiness. surffisher (196), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 17, 2008 Pours clear straw-colored with a small white head. Aroma of clean malts and spicy, herbal hops. Full flavor features a strong malt character but balances toward surprisingly bitter hops. Medium bodied with moderately high carbonation. Pretty nice, relatively easy drinking pilsner though seems to be on the bitter side for the style. SQNfan (591), Wheaton, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 5/5 | 10/20 | Jun 4, 2008 Clear light golden in color with a thin head of fine bubbles. Aromas were of citrus, spice and herbs. In the mouth it is light to medium-bodied with lots of carbonation and a dry finish. Light and simple. beerguy101 (3972), Newark, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 3, 2008 This Pilsner pours an orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal and grass, some hops. A medium bodied pilsner. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are spicy and a touch floral. Lively carbonation. Nice pilsner. Clean and crisp tasting. There are enough hops to balance the cereal malt. Would make a good summer session beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Holdwine (909), Beertimore, Maryland, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 3, 2008 A bit underwhelmed by this pils. A nice grassy nose, but lacking some crispness. Burlap in the finish. Okay, but weak compared to its stablemates. TheShat (131), Lakewood, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2008 This golden draft had a small head that laced very little. There is a typical malty lager aroma. The flavor is full and bready as one would hope and it has a crisp clean finish.
