Apr 28, 2008 12 oz. bottle via trade with tytoanderso - Pours a clear golden color with a one finger thick white head. Light lacing. Aroma is herbal hops and light grain. Flavor is spicey hops and grain malt. Medium body. A pretty good beer. Thanks Tyler.

Apr 22, 2008 I found this beer pretty disappointing. It says its a lager and then its a pilsner. Pours gold with an unimpressive head. Smells like hay and corn, tastes metallic and a little fishy as the rater below said. Maybe it was a bad batch because i expect better quality beer from Bells.

Apr 19, 2008 12 oz. Bottle. "Lager of the lakes". Ultra pale color with a medium foamy white head. Not much in the way of aroma, detected some noble hops and a bit of pale malt. Flavor is crisp with subtle malt flavor and grassy hop character. Mouthfeel is fizzy as the beer is highly carbonated. Finish is quick and somewhat dry. Basically this tastes like a slightly upgraded version of a mass produced American lager.

Apr 7, 2008 Yuck. Smelled like skunk, tasted like fish. Poured gold with minimal head. Taste was bland and non-descript. A pretty bad beer by a decent brewery.

Apr 6, 2008 Pours a typical (maybe better) transparent gold. Minimul head that dissapears into a thin lace. Definately a finer carb then most macros. Floral nose. It has a medium hoppy flavor with a mildly dry finsh. Nothing to spectacular. Better then the macros but there are others in this style i would rather drink.

Apr 4, 2008 Bottle from Stine. Thanks Eben. Pale gold color. Aroma of German malt and a touch of grassy hops. Not a ton of flavor, but a great strong hoppy crispness that accompanies the light bready pilsner malt. A fantastic thirt quencher and palate cleanser.

Apr 2, 2008 12 oz bottle. Color is pale yellow with a minimal head, on first sight it could be easily confused for a macro. Aroma is light grain. Flavor is grain and mild malt, with a bit of grassy hop in the middle. Finish is slightly sweet. Being a lager, it has it’s limitations, but overall isn’t bad.

Mar 27, 2008 Light golden color with a thin white head. The aroma is pretty mild, some slight herbal hop notes and thats about it. The flavor is clean, mild hops with a nice big honey sweetness coming through mid sip. The mouthfeel is pretty smooth, but maybe a little over carbonated. Pretty good beer.
