Pours cloudy gold/orange with a huge white head. Malty aroma with a bit of citrus hop and very crisp. Crisp citrus hop flavor up front with a nice malt balance before a bitter finish. One of the better beers of this style I’ve had for sure. danielcurtis81 (909), San Diego, California, USA

Served on tap at Kalamazoo Brewing Co./Eccentric Café. Appearance is light yellow gold with a thin white head. Light pale malts for flavor and aroma. Nothing too exciting but it is a lager.

Big white head that fizzles down to half and inch or so and stays there. Crisp, clean, hoppy aroma. Light rarified malt at the start with great dry hops finish. Nice flavour balance but odd aroma.

"Lager of the Lakes" bottles from Bell’s batch code 9108. Light, crisp, mouthfeel but with an assertive, almost metallic, hop taste that stays on well into the aftertaste. Nothing like the flavor of Bell’s big ales, but a good session lager for hot weather. Somewhat more robust than Sierra Nevada’s Summerfest. Less sour than Pilsner Urquell, but without the latter’s characteristic softness on the palate. Sammy (4051), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
