Small white head, minimal lacing. Generally not a pilsner fan, but it was Bells so I made an exception. Crisp, clear flavor. Very easy drinking. Nothing to brag about, but good quality seasonal beer worthly of every day drinking. The kind of beer you drink when you just want a beer and don’t care to analyze it. cking (1041), North Canton, Ohio, USA

Pale yellow pour, thin head, and spotty lacing. Looks unimpressive and bland. Fresh mouthfeel, light and crisp. This beer goes down easy...too easy, this is an ultimate session brew. Flavor of pale malt with well balanced hops. Grassy with faint flavors of toasted nuts and bread. Real satisfying lager, but in the end it is simply a nicely crafted basic pale lager. The price tag will prevent me from picking this up again. radagast83 (1315), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

Never been a huge fan of pilsners, but this one was solid enough for me to want again. A bit of floral hops aroma. Flavor is a bit straw like, with some bitterness. alexanderj (2280), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jun 30, 2007 Bottle, Bells Lager. Poured a straw gold, with quickly fading white head. Alot of visible carbonation. Fresh aroma of bread, yeast, hops and grass/earth. Enjoyed the malt, but the hops finish was a little off. Good palate; Not bad Kinz (2215), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 29, 2007 Bells Lager. Medium gold, quite a bit of fizz apparent, but a nice lasting white head. Big aroma of spicy floral hops. Flavor has a good element of grain, combined with a big dose of hay and a huge hoppy floral finish. This is really nice. BDR (2168), Roseville, Minnesota, USA

Pours pale golden and clear with a white head lacking in longevity. Dusty herbals and Saaz aroma, grasses and bready yeast. Smooth with a tingle. Mild flavor... an easy-drinker with moderate bitterness and no adversities. If the price was right, I’d buy this by the keg as an "every day" beer. Alas, no availability in Illinois.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 13, 2007 Bottle: This one pours a light golden in color, with a quickly diminishing white head. It smells like baking bread. Taste is a little yeasty with a hint of hops. This is ok, but I can’t get into it.
