12 oz Lager of the Lakes. Very yellow color with a good loose foamy head. Natural/earthy tasting with the slight grass flavor with the malt and spice. A desent pilsener for once, instead of the Pale Lager those macros try to pawn off as as pilsener. Refreshing

Bought a six pack of bottles under the name "Lager of the Lakes". Slightly above average pilsener, quite drinkable.

Lager of the lakes,a feeble attempt to duplicate a czech pils.Turn on the foglights as visibility in this brew is minimal.Icebergs are there with a highly citrus taste.Another 800 years and Bells will have pils to an art.Bells has too many fine brews to bother with this one.

I had this under the "Lager of the Lakes" label. It’s a richer orange/yellow than most such beers, and there were some things I rather liked--the palate seemed creamy yet awake, and there was a moderately pleasant floral note, like heather or clove. It was drinkable with only a bit of a metallic note in the early-going. It was reasonably buttery, sweet, herbal. Not bad at all. The aroma was the weakest element.

Golden with virtually no head. Yeasty aroma. Bitter, sour. Poor by Bells standard. Tastes like skunky Budweiser.

Rich and toasty in both flavor and aroma. Many spicy flavors. Medium bodied. Too heavy to be an easy drinker, too light on flavor to be special
