Pours to a light yellow, with halfway decent carbonation and little head or lacing. Aroma is skunky if anything, mouthfeel balnd, and taste grainy. Not surprisingly, this leads to a finish that is short and metallic. Unfortunately, a very disappointing offering from Bells.

Clear gold, moderate white head, ongoing effervescence, nearly glass-coating lace. Aroma has plenty of lemon and grass, against a slightly vegetal lager yeast background. Lightly sweet malt against a crisp, bitter noble hops profile, fresh and grassy here. Medium bodied, somewhat astringent. Somehow not really sessionable.

Pours a clear golden with a thin, foamy white head. Aroma of light hops and citrus. Tastes of hops, citrus, grass, grains, some malts, and light honey. Pretty good for a pale lager.

Bottle. Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of grassy hops and some hops. Flavour is slightly hoppy, grainy. Ok pilsener.

Pours a crisp straw color with a medium off-white head, which leaves a few streaks of lacing. Aroma is grassy hops and light corn. Taste is much the same. Meh.

Purchased this at Brawleys in Charlotte, North Carolina. Looks like the reference instead of the picture listed. Transparent looking pale lager that has nice head sitting on top. Light gold lager yellow appearance. I am not in the best condition to be rating this beer, but you only have one life to live right?! Pungent pilsner aroma. Not hard to smell. Not overly pungent, but pungent enough. Decent pilsner taste with a very simple flavor. Not one of my favorite pilsners, but it is pretty good. Not really much to say about this beer actually. Try this once and move on.

Lager of the Lake, bottle. Nice cotton white head the nice lace, lots of carbination, but the standard lager taste. Even more heavy than some mass produced brews. I like my lagers thiner with less bitterness.
