Pours a beautiful copper brown with a good sized, full khaki head. The aroma is very malty, a lot of caramel, light roastiness, and some ripe, lightly spiced fruit. Flavor Is sweet at first, even with a few hints of cherries along with those caramel malts. There is a little roasted flavor that mixes in with a peppery hop taste that finishes dry and a little awkwardly.

Burnt coffee/copper brown red in color with a thin ivory white head. Smell is a hint doughy and is slight smoky malt. Big sediment chunks floating around remind me of a science experiement - pretty cool. Smoky malt flavor. Nice, slightly above average palate. Watery but it works here. Surely one of the better browns I have had. The dry smoky malt flavor is memorable and enjoyable.

Bottle courtesy of cmr1517. Pours a hazy brownish amber with initial 2 finger foamy tan head the fades into a small constant topper. Nose is malt, brown sugar and nuts. Palate is roasted malt, caramel, maybe a touch of coffee and a dry, slight bitter hop finish. Medium mouth feel, really nice lacing. A solid representative of the style.

Draft at Soul Infusion. Pours a brown color. aroma is nutty with little hop smell. Taste is sweet and almost a little bit acidic. After drinking one I was pretty full. This is a good brown, but not what i expected it to be.

This beer pours a bright copper color with a foamy, off-white head. It has nice head retention and lacing. It has a light citrus hoppy aroma with a hint of toasted malts. The taste is malty and bready with a nice hop finish. Very enjoyable and refreshing. It is lightly carbonated, the body leaves a bit to be desired, but it’s still quite delicious. I would serve this with a mushroom swiss burger or a meatloaf-yum!

Tasty beer! Pours a dark amber colour, full off white head. Has a pleasent toasted aroma, caramel, licorice and bread in the taste. Clean hop finish. Hearty and filling, great for making that transition into the cool fall months.

A tasting at Three Cellars Milwuakee. Very hoppy and rich in malt. Another great Bell’s beer.

Bottle. Dark brownish amber pour, little to no head. Aroma is of nicely sugar roasted malt. Flavor is much of the same sugar roasted malt with a nice hint of caramel... decently dry finish.
