Yes, not every Bell beer can be up to par. There is way too much metallic tones in this one. The aroma is ok, but the flavor and aftertaste really do nothing for me. Reminds me alot of a generic light beer you chug after doing yardwork. However, Bells always redeems themselves with Hopslam and the old Expedition. Sorry to be so brutal.

12 oz bottle. Pours a medium hazy brown with small head. Some flavor of malty goodness, but not enough. Some caramel too. Hoppy in the aftertaste. Not alot going on here.

Yum! Bell’s really makes some great beers! Cloudy brown/amber color. Creamy head malty taste and slightly bitter finish. I really like this beer and need to have a few more

Blah. and way too much tin and metallic flavors here. Seems like Bells is hit and miss with me. Ill pass on this one in the future.

July 2006 - Not every Bells beer can be a home run, ok. Clear brown color, moderate head. Caramel flavor, touch of roast, but a bit watery and bland. Drab example of a drab style.

12 oz. bottle via trade with TURDFERGUSON - Pours a light brown color with a 1/2 finger thick off white head that faded pretty quick. Aroma is caramel malt and esters (cherries). Flavor is a sweet caramel malt. Light to medium body. Nothing fancy. Just an easy drinking Brown. Thanks Sam

Nice nutty smell. Great brown amber color with a thick beige head. Nice earthy flavor, malty but nothing extra special. Medium body and overall a good beer.
