Nutty malt aroma with some light earthy hops assisting. Palate is accomodating, being slighty on the thick side for a brew of modest alcohol content. Nice malt complexity comes through on the taste, seeming richer than most other browns. The nuttiness and hop character mix well in the finish. A very nice brown ale.
