12 oz. bottle. Pours a brown mahogony color with a frothy tan head. Nice lacing. Medium to heavy body. Aroma is malty sweet, nutty and dark caramel. Starts sweet with caramel, bisquit and malt. Has that fresh toasted bread flavor which is balanced by the nutty sweetness and finishes drier than normal for many beers similar.. One of the ’Best Bowns’ I have had.

Light brown color with a pretty nice sized off-white head. Nutty aroma, sweet and malty. Flavor is pretty rich for a brown, with an initial rush of caramel. toffee and a pleasing sweetness. Finish is nutty, short and slightly bitter. Really good... especially for a brown. This would be great for introducing someone to craft beers.

roasty malt aroma with a similar taste. Alot of things going on in this one for a brown ale. Very sweat, which I liked. This beer was great on cool late summer day. I’ll buy another 6 in the fall.

Bottle courtesy of dpjuart. Nice rounded malty aroma with neutral fruits. Nice grainy oatmeal mash taste, nutty. Light hoppyness. Sweet and clean aroma for a brown, with some nice caramel. Hazy medium brown with thin lacing head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts nutty with sweet malt. Caramel and chocolate, light molasses. Good tangy sour mash at finish. Light hoppy bitter finish. Dry nutty sweet after with a bit of smoke. Nice brown.
