Beer laces mug very well. Taste is light, earthy with chocolate (not too sweet) balanced by nutty hops. Dry and balanced. I really enjoyed this well-made beer. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 8, 2007 Poured a caramelly brown that was slightly cloudy. The head was one finger, off-white and a little bit fluff. Decent lacing. The aroma was a bit on the thin side, a bit of roasted malt came through, but that was about it. The flavor was roasted malt, a hint of sweetness (I wish I had tasted more) and slightly bitter finish. Decent. mynameisjonas (206), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
