Bottle. Hell yes! As a huge doppelbock fan, this beer is awesome. On par with Celebrator and Optmator...terrific balance and flavor. Bells is an awesome brewery

Bottle: Pours amber with a small fizzy head. Faint aroma of caramel. Flavor of alcohol, caramel and malts.

12oz bottle. Aroma is malty with notes of dark bread, caramel. Litght herbal hop notes as well. Notes of mold along with dust, cola, & clove. Deep amber mahagony hue with an average sized frothy off-white head that mostly diminshed and left no lace. Flavor is malty and sweet with a light bitter finish. Finish is average and palate is medium-full bodied and oily. Carbonation lively but not over done. A good brew but doesn’t inspire.

Bottle. Rich brown color, sweet, malty nose with a heavy dose of citrus. Medium sized head. Tastes of caramel, bready malts, and a bit of fruit. Good, if not overwhelming, and masks the alcohol well. Aside from a bit of sourness in the finish, these would be really easy to drink a few of.

Slightly metallic malt and cashew nose. Immaculately clear dark orange color, no head. Generic sweet malt and nutmeg flavor. Barely detectable nuttiness on the palate. Medium body, little flavor. Pretty much a waste of time, but that seems to be my opinion of most bocks.

Generally pleasant, nothing, unfortunately, knock your socks off great. Given all the tother visual descriptions earlier, it maintains the same... a little malty and some wheat, but nothing "wow", with that roast and caramel flavors. (Bottle Pour... sometime in mid April)

This beer pours a caramelly-brown filtered liquid with lingering lacing. A smell of pure malt eminates from the glass. Hops are also prevalent. The mouthfeel is silky smooth with a decent amount of heftyness. This may be attributable to the low-carbonation. The flavor is predominantly malt with a touch of dried fruit and a low hop profile. There is some bitterness in the aftertaste that seems to mask the 8% ABV. Overall, a great drinkable beer.

This is a good lager. There was plenty of flavors (malts) and it masked the 8% well. I like this one with a wiener schnitzel and mushroom gravy.
