Feb 27, 2007 Ack, this stuff stinks! The aroma that is. cant figure out what it smells like, but its not nice. Taste is good, pretty light though i though, no head. Malty, sweet, not much hops. i love bells but just not a real huge fan of this.

Feb 24, 2007 bottle baby...Translucent red-brown. Light brown head. Sweet, roasty aroma w/ caramel, molasses & vanilla. Full bodied, somewhat sticky. Rich, sweet, roasty flavour w/ caramel, molasses, licorice & nuts. Somewhat woody, earthy finish. iT rocks!

Feb 15, 2007 Poured from bottle. Beautiful red color with cream colored head. Smelled sweet and malty. Tasted a bit of hop up front but the finish is all malty, yeast, and sweet caramel. This is very tasty indeed!

Jan 27, 2007 Bottle. Pours with a nice reddish color and a medium head with good retention. This is a more understated bock, it is not overpoweringly sweet but rather nicely balanced. It has fruit, toffee and caramel flavors with a nice maltiness.
The alcohol is alos quite subdued but definitely there. This one is well crafted.

Jan 22, 2007 12oz bottle, batch 6656(!), courtesy of artusory. Thanks, Ryan! Pours a medium orange-red color; minimal head retention. Pleasant caramel, wet malt aroma; some candy sugar. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: toasty caramel, wet malts, vanilla and light spice. Medium, caramel and vanilla finish.
