Pours clear brown with plenty of creamy tan head. Nose has a bit of chocolate cover raisin with an herbal hop note. Flavor is full of chocolate and munich malt goodness. Full body and long lasting.

Pours semi-clear brown with deep burgundy hues with large quickly receding off-white head. Nose is just a huge hit of yeast, and almost a rice laden lager like feel to it, with a bit of malty sweetness. Medium-Light bodied, very sweet with a slightly warming finish. There are some subtle flavors if your looking for them of caramel, and some bitter hops.

Bottle. Pours a deep brownish red color with a wispy head. Flavor is big caramel/roasted malts, molasses, and sugar. Medium/full bodied, thick and chewy on the palate. Finish is lingering and sweet. Solid doppelbock, about par for the style.

Pours an orange amber with very light tan colored head. Aroma is citrus fruit with brown sugar. Flavor is caramel and grape. Definite brown sugar/molasses notes are present. Alcohol is present in the flavor. Body is creamy and carbonation is light.

Sampled on draught, this brewe poured a semi-dark reddish copper colour with a two finger sized off white head. Caramel, plum, some other kind of dark fruits on the nose. Caramel flavours midplat makes this beer pretty rich. Carries a noticeable alcohol fume in the aroma.

12oz bottle. Pours dark ruby with a tan head. Aroma of sweet malts and dark fruit. The taste is dominated by the sweetness of caramel, molasses, and fruit. Palate is smooth and medium bodied with a subtle alcohol finish. The hops are hardly detectable, which ends up making this one a little too sweet.

Lager aroma. Very much a malty aroma. Buttery aroma. Nice pungent aroma. Not really much of a head, but has a nice ruby color to it. Looks and smells great. Really sweet and fruity flavor. Unexpected flavor. Yeast, sweet, cough syrup type flavor. I don’t know this is great, but I think the malts are just overpowering this think like crazy. Again, very sweet, and just a huge malt presence. The malts just dominate, and this beer is a must to try, but again expect the sweet malty taste/aroma.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear red with a light tan head. Aroma is primarily of earthy minerals, with some dark fruit and a touch of coffee ground behind them. Flavor is a smooth, sweet caramel with chewy dark fruits and nuts. Hints of coffee and earthiness, with a bit of alcohol in the finish. Nice flavor, but the aroma puts me off a bit at first.
