Commercial Description:
The satisfying elements of both stout and coffee come together in this full-bodied treat. A marriage of Sumatra's best with rich chocolate and roasted malt provides for a truly enlightening beer.

Pours a dark brown with very little head. Aroma of chocolate, malt and coffee. Taste is initially a sweet blend of chocolate and malt finished off with a little burnt coffee. Another nice one from Bells.

Solid black with a creamy brown head. Alcohol and chocolate aroma. The sweet chocolate is balanced well by the bitterness of the coffee.

Shared with barrios et al. on the brew day. Everything you expect a coffee stout to be. Extremely dark brown pour but just a hint of brown dark tan head. Roasty, coffee, bitter chocolate. Nice example of the style.

2008 Bottle - Thanks BrewCzar! - Pours a thin dk brown with a medium creme coloured head...aroma is dk malt, green peppers, coffee, cocoa and vanilla...flavour is dry and ashy, but evolves into a nicely balanced brew, capped off with a lingering coffee finish that rocks...very nice!...

Aroma: Huge dark coffee roast and dark roasty malt aroma.
Appearance: Black in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor: Big coffee and dark malt flavoring this also had good hints of chocolate.
Palate: Dry stout finish, with a great Mouthfeel.
Overall: Super beer this was awesome in so many ways loved the flavoring this was very well brewed. Thick and tasty.
