Commercial Description:
The satisfying elements of both stout and coffee come together in this full-bodied treat. A marriage of Sumatra's best with rich chocolate and roasted malt provides for a truly enlightening beer.

Strong black color with a slight head once poured. Tastes of strong black coffee. Great brew for anyone that likes to explore java stouts.

Smells exactly like you expect. Very strong black coffee smell. Smells like you just walked into a coffee shop. Dark black with a small head that dissapates to a slight film of bubbles. Taste is like a strong dark coffee. Really good and interesting, just what you would expect from Bells.

Draft...more java than stout, really. Thick, chalky and bitter, it really tastes more like a mouthful of iced coffee, which if you like that you’ll like this. Alcohol slightly noticeable. I would much prefer an imperial stout over this.

I have decided that I realy dont enjoy coffee stouts. At first they seemed unque and now the light has faded. the coffe in this brew was less orusive than most but still the acrid bitterness of coffee turns the beer taste into a wash of mixed unbalance. Thanks to slob for helping me decide this.

from vintagecellars.com Black with a light brown foamy head. Chocolate and chipotle pepper (Is that just my tumor acting up?) aroma. Chocolate and coffee taste with pepper to the finish.
