Roasted malts and a huge coffee aroma. The taste is very similar and tastes strongly of ground coffee with a bit of hops on the back end. If you like coffee you will love this. Deep ruby-brown with a dark tan head. Aroma of freshly brewed sweet coffee and strong, roasty malt. Medium bodied. Dark malt flavour, with strong notes of coffee and chocolate, and a good amount of hops poking through in the finish. Really well done. mabel (2612), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Super coffee bean and chocolate aroma with lots of dark bean and beer and some brewery. Dark dark brown body with a quick light tan head. Beery coffee flavour. Medium-full body is a little barnyard bitter. Interesting. WisconsinBeer (526), St Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 28, 2007 Dark as can be, with a nice little wispy tan colored head. Fresh coffee and warm malt aromas. Flavor is a fresh pot of black coffee, dark chocolate covered fruit, roasted malts, and um.....coffee. Has a delicious softness that makes it stand out. Flavor is well balanced. Body is medium thick, which makes for a wonderful sensation on the palate. This may be perfect for a stout - not molasses thick, but not watery. Once again, Bells comes through with yet another well made brew. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA

That’s about all that needs to be said about this sucker. I like coffee but I love beer that tastes like coffee and this is one of them. There is a thickness in the mouthfeel that reminds one of an impy stout without the added alcohol burn in the flavor. Super awesome. jvmiller (532), Bel Air, Maryland, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Dec 25, 2007 I thought this was quite yummy. Great coffee flavor mixed with good malts. What I really loved about this one was the body and the mouthfeel. It was creamy, rich and viscous. I would actually lean this closer to a imperial because of the richness and body. Good one to sip and enjoy. craftbeerdesign (755), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA

Thick and creamy. Full of coffee, espresso, etc... flavor. Pours a deep dark black with a thick soft tan head. Smells of chocolate and coffee. Nice full body that flows over the palate evenly leaving a nice bitter coffee taste on the finish. Incredible. Glad I got a six pack. yjb (110), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
