Flavor profile had lots of coffee again, but there is a nice chocolate element in there as well. Problem is that the coffee is not so well incorporated into the beer. This is the strongest coffee stout I can remember. Strong smell and taste. This is a dark roast for sure. :) I don’t taste one ounce of alcohol. Pitch black color. Long lingering coffee roast finish. Man, yet another killer - and highly distinct - stout from Bells. It’s got a very full body, with a really abundant mouthfeel that distinguishes it happily from some fairly thin coffee stouts out there. But the aroma is killer, and the flavor even better, with rich bitter chocolates blending seamlessly with potent malts and extremely strong roast coffee (tastes more like Italian than Sumatran if you ask me, but what the hell). Kudos again, Bells!
