A brown beer with a very fast disappering brown head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of chocolate, but also light hints of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with quite strong notes of chocolate, and lesser notes of roasted malt, which also lends a bit of sourness to the beer, vegetables, spices, and oatmeal. Quite nice.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, dark orangey brown with a beige head. Lightly vinous with aromas of hard roasted malt. Medium body with rather dry, roasted malt and some notes of dried fruit. Lightly burned, bitter finish. 290806

Opaque black with beige head. Roasty, creamy but somewhat dry. Full bodied and well balanced. Like strong coffee with cream and sugar. Thanks PsychProf!

Extremely dark brown, but yeah I’m still getting a tiny bit of light through there. Hints of oats right away in the aroma, then lots of roast; slightly metallic palate, some roastiness, lacking the smoothness I was hoping for.
