It has a spicy hop aroma; floral, resiny and a touch sweet. Nice. A note of honey lingers in the nose. It has a creamy, chewy medium body and a dry, slightly acidic finish. It’s a crisp and bitter flavor, like citrus tea with a biscuity backbone. It’s a bold and proper use of wheat. guyinchicago (526), marengo, Illinois, USA

Pours a hazy gold with a medium white head that fades quickly. Grainy and somewhat unpleasant aromas… must be the Saaz. Sweet and wheaty, light honey flavors. Finishes with a light bitterness, and a bit of cardboard. Rather unpleasant, and a big disappointment for a Bell’s brew. At less than two months, I can’t figure that it’s old, just not so good. I’d rather go German when it comes to Wheats. Tap at Yard House, Coral Gables. scrizzz (1263), kirkland, Washington, USA

My stuffy nose couldn’t detect much beyond the dry wheat nose. Refreshing with a dusty dry side and a liquid sugar side. There’s some enjoyable depth if I look for it, though I also could drink 6 by the pool and not think twice either. Gets more and more dry as I drink it. punkeedo (465), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 30, 2009 2009 Tap. Mediocre at best, this beer tends toward non-descript-ness and wateriness. Aroma of fruits and light hops, there is a hops and wheat presence in the flavor, but finishes quite watery. Appearance dark yellow-orange with a light white head. Wouldn’t try again. A decent Belgian style white that I would rate ahead of Blue moon but not on the level of Hoegaarden. Fresh, crisp, fruity in flavor this ale is a nice summer beer. Cloudy in appearance and floral in aroma, this is a very drinkable session beer. slitcher (93), Freeport, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 22, 2009 Pours a hazy gold with a medium-thick white head. Wheat and a little sugar on the nose. Flavors of wheat, yeast, with a slight hop bitterness at the end. High carbonation and flzvor are very reminisent of a Belgian-style ale. Very good.
