monkeychugg55 (214), Joliet, Illinois, USA May 30, 2009 Pours a hazy honey color with a medium sized frothy white head that leaves lots of lacing. Mellow aroma of yeast and faint clove. Flavor is wheat, toasted malt, and is a little sour. Moutfeel is kinda full and soft, and there is little carbonation. Not a lot of aroma/flavor to this one. I still prefer a German weisse over this. MereLikesBeer (153), Royal Oak, Michigan, USA May 30, 2009 So, I’ve had this beer on so many occasions, however I’ve just never rated it...So here it goes. Pours a light orangy yellow with lots of bubbles in the glass. The head is an off white that disappears quite quickly. The aroma is wheaty and unfortunately that’s all I’m getting at the moment because of the perfume I’m wearing :( Aside from that it tastes great. It’s has a very light mouthfeel and is very bubbly. It tastes light and refreshing with a bit of a bitter taste. I like this beer :) nathan30533 (138), Dahlonega, Georgia, USA May 30, 2009 Pours a foggy yellow color with floating yeast. White lacing throughout glass. Smells of wheat which is not really my style. Good taste for a wheat though. Taste of wheat and mild balanced spices. Good overall summer wheat ale. grandet (477), Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA May 29, 2009 bottle from jessup plaza. Poured a hazy orange yellow with a nice big white head. Lots of bubbles on the glass. Aroma is nice citrus and alittle yeast. Very drinkable and light with lots of citrus and mild hops at the end. Very enjoyable. My new beer of summer. AtlAggie (131), Atlanta, Georgia, USA May 28, 2009 Pours bright golden yellow, unfiltered haziness with a huge foam head. Nose is fairly mild, light citrus and yeast mostly, touch of hops. Yeasty, some wheat, some malts up front, followed by mild citrus and finally mild bitterness on finish, almost metallic in character. Very drinkable. TKA300 (99), Carbondale, Illinois, USA May 24, 2009 Not a huge fan of any wheat beers, but this was alright. Bells has never disappointed me anyway. It looked deeper orange than most wheat beers I’ve had. Flavor was pretty wheaty and citrusy and not overly offensive... Pretty solid brew. Uglyradio (775), Greenville, South Carolina, USA May 24, 2009 Nice Saaz hop aroma. Cloudy golden color...small white head...wheaty flavor, some slight malt sweetness and a bit of a hoppy finish...Smooth and tasty...Excellent summer wheat brew... tmohr (22), Illinois, USA May 23, 2009 Updated: Sep 2, 2009Pours cloudy gold, decent head and lacing. Smooth flavor, slightly hoppy, definite wheat notes. Good stuff.
