Taverner (825), San Ramon, California, USA May 18, 2009 Pours a cloudy orange-golden. Lots of fluffy white cloud like head. Flavor is biscuity, full of fruity notes. Finishes clean. pintocb (508), Darsville, Georgia, USA May 18, 2009 Looks good in the glass; golden color with a lot of yeasty haze, billowy white head. The aroma is muted, some spicyness and yeast, biscuity. The flavor is malty with a few hints of pepper and fruit. Really a bit of a let down. I love wheat ales, and I had such hopes for this one. fiver29 (703), Cleveland, Ohio, USA May 18, 2009 5 liter mini keg pours hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is wheat and grain. Medium light mouthfeel. Flavor follows nose and has some wheat flavor upfront with a grainy finish. Nice and easy drinking brew especially in the summer time. I’ll be picking up a couple more mini kegs for summer parties. Its a brew I can drink and others seem to like as well. Bukowski9 (89), Piqua, Ohio, USA May 18, 2009 Sample @ Bock&Rock.Aroma was wheat and citrus with hints of malt.Color was a hazy yellow with a good white head.Flavor wheat with hints of lemon and spice.Easy to drink, liked this one. jkaiser (212), Orlando, Florida, USA May 18, 2009 This beer was not a knock out homerun but it was one of the few that made it out of beerfest with a lasting memory of it’s self in my brain. Birdiebeagle (777), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA May 17, 2009 Bottle Pours a clear yellow with a decent white head. The head lasts well. Has a good sweet aroma of malts and a touch of hops, mostly from citrus fruits. Has a good carbonation. Has a decent mouthfeel. A good clean taste. The flavor is good and refreshing. Avery easy drinking beer. Has a lighter body. The texture is beer not watery or tick just is like beer. Has a good finish and a light aftertaste. This is a very refreshing enjoyable beer. JediMindTricks (239), Hampton, Virginia, USA May 16, 2009 This is a great summer ale. Blue Moon is very bland compared to this ale. Nice beer to have while sitting around a campfire...it is what it is...
livelaughlovep (96), Lakewood, Ohio, USA May 14, 2009 Really loved this one. Beautiful hazy golden yellow, fluffy head and gorgeous lacing. Taste forefront was malt - fresh baked bread, biscuits, wheat and a touch of sweetness. Secondly was the citrus - orange peels and fruit, light lemon. Cuts through thirst like a knife, this is one sessionable, beautiful ale.
